It is now an expectation that children will continue to learn at home in the event of self-isolation or the closure of a bubble; schools are responsible for providing learning activities and parents are responsible for delivering this learning to their children.
During the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it is possible that individuals or groups of children will be unable to attend school. In these instances, we will continue to provide high quality education and support to children using Microsoft Teams / Notebook. This will be a blended approach of live lessons and assignments/activities set. This learning may include links to online resources such as White Rose Maths, Oak Academy and BBC Bitesize. Teachers will be able to provide support and feedback using Microsoft Notebook.
Our rich integrated curriculum is carefully planned to enable children to develop knowledge and skills in all curriculum areas, underpinned by our learning values and with a strong focus on reading, writing and maths. This is something we will continue to prioritise in our blended learning model.
Children have been using their Microsoft account in school so that they know how to access their home learning.
