While school is closed, we are doing 'virtual' assemblies that we hope you can join in with at home. Just work your way down this page, watching the videos and joining in if you want.

We usually start our assembly by watching and joining in with a special kind of prayer:

Then we make the Sign of the Cross together:

"In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."

Our adults then lead us to share stories from the bible, important information or some of the fantastic work that we have been doing.

Our teachers then  tell us about someone in their class who has gone 'Over and Above' The Blessed Sacrament Way.

We can also share some of our work - this week, we have been making pictures of our heroes to display in our windows:

Next week is half term, but in our next assembly on 12th June we will be sharing pictures of 'our school family' - someone from school that you miss. It could be a member of staff or one of your friends. If you want your pictures included, send a photograph of them to Miss Hannah (head@blessedsacrament.lancs.sch.uk) by 6pm on Thursday.

At the end of assembly, we sing a hymn together. You can choose one from the videos below.

We love to hear about you enjoying our assemblies:

Some of our teachers made longer videos - you can watch them here:
