School sport is organised by Miss Straker and overseen by Mr Thompson.
In addition to the importance placed on PE lessons, we also have a wider curriculum offer which includes the opportunities for pupils to take part in extracurricular sports and activity clubs and competitions.
We are exceptionally proud of the sporting provision we provide at Blessed Sacrament. We enjoy taking part in competitions outside school including football, netball, multi-skills, athletics, tag rugby and many more.
This provision allows us to produce a range of sporting teams who compete against other schools in competitions organised by the Preston School Sports Council.

We are delighted that The Blessed Sacrament have achieved the School Games Mark Bronze award for the 2022/2023 academic year. The School Games Mark is a government led award scheme, launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward and recognise school achievement against a national benchmark and offers the opportunity to celebrate keeping young people active. We are thrilled that we have been recognised for our success.
