Mrs Gill Stables is our admissions officer in school.  All enquiries for places (September Reception, or mid year for other age groups) are dealt with by Mrs Stables.

Our school is very popular but we do currently have limited places available.

The school's Admissions Policy is below and will help parents and carers find out about what to do if they would like a place.  Within the policy, are the admission arrangements and oversubscription criteria as well as the supplementary information form which we require in addition to the County Council form.

The documents below outline the admissions procedure for the school and provide the timetable for hearing admission appeals from Lancashire County Council.

In-Year Admissions

An application can be made for a place for a child at any time outside the admission round and the child will be admitted where there are available places. An application should be made to the school by completing the in-year admissions application form and returning to the school office or via email to If applying on faith grounds please also complete and return the supplementary form.

Where there are places available but more applications than places, the published oversubscription criteria, as set out in the admission arrangements, will be applied.

If there are no places available, the child will be added to the waiting list. You will be advised of the outcome of your application within 15 school days of receipt, but the aim is to notify applicants of the outcome of their application within 10 school days of receipt.

You have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel if your application is unsuccessful. Details of which can be found at Appeal against an admission decision - Lancashire County Council
