Children with academic learning needs are accommodated within the main stream classroom where their work is differentiated by the classroom teacher appropriately. They also receive one-to-one support to access learning activities specifically related to their personalised 'Learning Plan'. Learning Plans are formally revised each term and copies sent home to parents.
Some children may also require support from the wider 'Wellbeing' team in school. This team currently consists of:
Miss Liddle (Family Support Worker)
If you have any concerns about your child's Special needs, please contact your child's class teacher in the first instance. If your child is already on the Special Needs and Disabilities register then contact Miss Hannah via the school office or speak to her informally about making an appointment.
