A busy week in Nursery

It’s been a busy week in Nursery. The children learned about Shrove Tuesday before  making pancakes. They enjoyed making the batter, watching Miss Gould toss the pancakes before their favourite part,  choosing a topping and eating them.
On Wednesday we talked about lent and Mrs Finch gave us ashes on our foreheads. 
Thursday was world book day the children had a fantastic day. We had a visit from local author Helen Dewhurst the children loved listening to her story. 
Later we listened to the story Goldilocks and the three bears before making porridge, dressing up and acting out the story and making our very own bear ears.
