Nursery week 1/Bonfire night

Our topic for this half term is celebrations.
This week we have really enjoyed looking  at Bonfire night we learned about Guy Fawkes and the gunpowder plot. 
We talked about the colours of the fireworks and the noises the fireworks made before splatter painting and printing firework pictures. Outside we used chalk to make firework patterns on the logs. During outdoor adventures we found a stick and attached ribbons to it before using it to copy fireworks on the IBW. The children’s favourite activity was making edible sparklers they thought they were delicious.
