Lifecycle of a plant

Our current science topic is Plants.  In our most recent lesson, we learnt about the different stages in the lifecycle of a flowering plant.

Once we were confident in the stages, we went out into the garden and became scientists. We used our scientific skills of observation to locate different plants around the garden and then try and identify which stage in its lifecycle it was in.

Here are some pictures of us in the garden. Maybe the children can explain to an adult which stage each plant is in.
