Fun in the snow.

The nursery children loved walking on the school field in the crunchy snow. They touched  the snow and talked about how it felt before looking  closely at the snow on the bushes. Back in the nursery garden they used sticks to mark make in the ice.
We have been reading Kipper’s Birthday this week, as part of their learning the children made party hats using materials of their choice.

Later in the week we worked together to make a den using posts, logs, pegs and the parachute before sitting inside it and singing nursery rhymes. After all their hard work the children were treated to hot chocolate and the jam tarts they had made earlier.
