Our First Two Weeks in Reception Sacrament

Maths In EYFS

Reception have enjoyed the sun.
In Reception we have been enjoying the sunshine by using our outdoor area. The children have been using their gross motor skills to pop bubbles, ride scooters and twirl the ribbons. The children have been building houses using the crates and setting up picnics.

Reception- The tiger who came for tea.
In Reception the children have been looking at the story “The tiger who came for tea”. The children have enjoyed exploring the story and holding tiger tea parties in the home corner. We have been talking about what we would do if a tiger came for tea and what we would feed it.

Vegetable tasting

Reception visit to the library
To celebrate World Book Day, Reception class children were invited to a story session at Ribbleton library. We enjoyed a story read by the librarian and then explored the library sharing stories with their friends.

Phonics
