Reduce, reuse, repurpose!

On our return to school this week the children in year 2 found the cloakroom full of rubbish! They were very annoyed and wondered where it had all come from.  This started the discussion for our new unit - reduce, reuse, repurpose! The children had an excellent understanding of what we should do with our rubbish and how we can reduce the amount of waste we produce. Several children talked about the dangers of plastic waste and we will be learning more about this over the next few weeks.
