Remembrance Day Y1S

Year 1 Sacrament were so thoughtful and respectful when we visited the war memorial today. We looked at the memorial, the poppies left there and talked about the significance of the day.

We shared a quiet moment to think of those who have died and listened to a bible reading. We ended our visit by placing a bouquet of poppies as our act of remembrance. We also attended the whole school assembly and observed the 2 minute silence at 11am. 

Miss Moore is very proud of their respectful behaviour and manners.
