Making Tunnels in Year 2 Blessed
Our first book in Year 2 this term is The Tunnel by Anthony Browne. We decided to make our own tunnels to have an experience of what it is like to go into one. Ask us about it and our fantastic predictions of what may be in the tunnel in the book.

Y1S class library visit
Year 1 Sacrament showed their absolute best behaviour when we visited Ribbleton Library this week. They were perfect walking there and back and their behaviour in the library was amazing. Everyone used their manners and we listened to two lovely stories.

Spreading Good News Y1S
In RE we have been looking at the importance of sharing good news with others. We all thought of the good news of Jesus and then we spread our messages around school.

Hand Hygiene Year 1
Year 1 took part in a Han Hygiene session lately run by the council. We learnt about the germs that can make us poorly and all about the best way to wash our hands.

Centenary Day Y1S

Trees Y1 Sacrament
As part of our science this term we are learning all about trees. We went outside to explore bark! We used our senses to explore and even did some tree hugging! Next, we made bark rubbings to compare the different marks on different trees.

Making a Rosary Y1S
To mark the month of May we made a decade of the Rosary. We had great time choosing our colours and then threading them. Later in the day we took our Rosary’s to our special Celebration of the Word. We took them home, ask us about the prayers we say in the Rosary.
