Y1S class library visit

Year 1 Sacrament showed their absolute best behaviour when we visited Ribbleton Library this week. They were perfect walking there and back and their behaviour in the library was amazing. Everyone used their manners and we listened to two lovely stories.

The library staff read us one of Aesop’s Fables - The Peacock and the Crane. Year 1 Sacrament amazed the library staff with their knowledge of fable features and were even able to work out what the moral was. It was fantastic to see them using their English knowledge in a different setting. 

And then they looked at the books there… they loved it. Children have taken home information on how to join the library - hopefully they will visit with their family soon.
