Toys in the past Y1S

This week in history we have been looking at toys used in the past in comparison to the toys we play with today. We had some examples of the types of toys children used to play with so we had a go. We tried skipping with a rope, spinning tops, a ball and cup and marbles. Then we had a vote. Most children liked the toys from the past the best! So if you are looking for a cheap, fun, active activity for the summer why not try a skipping rope!
