Y1S puppets

Mrs Kamran visits nursery.
This week we have been learning about Eid. The children decorated the home corner and designed their own beautiful mehndi patterns. They were very interested when Mrs. Kamran came to nursery to tell and show us photographs of how she had celebrated Eid with her family.

Reception blue cross visit.
Reception has a visitor from the blue cross come in and talk to use about how to care for pets. The children enjoyed listening and learning lots of different and new things about animals. We will be able to use all this new knowledge in our Summer 1 topic of animals.

I want a Pet!
We had a lovely first day back after the Easter break!

Stations of the Cross

Big walk for Lent

Library Bus
The Lancashire Library Service Library Bus visited us yesterday. Our new librarians chose nearly 400 new books for us to borrow. These will be in our school library soon. It was lovely to see the children so excited about books and reading.

Palm Sunday
Year 1 made palm branches in class last week. Next we went on a parade around school singing, “ Sing Hosanna to the King of Kings.” and waving our branches.
